The Markers
Are these made from real sports cards?
Yes. Every marker is hand-cut from an authentic sports trading card, not a print or replica. Each one is a true one of one. Once a card becomes a marker, there will never be another like it.
Can I actually play with it?
That's the whole point. Each marker is domed in clear resin and sealed edge to edge, so it's built for real rounds, not a display shelf. It also comes in a clear acrylic case for safekeeping between rounds.
How big is the marker?
1.5 inches in diameter, slightly smaller than a poker chip. Big enough to show off the card, easy to spot on the green.
Is it legal for tournament play?
Yes. Under the Rules of Golf (Rule 14.1a), you can mark your ball with any small object, including a coin, a tee, or a Green Gem. Play it in your Saturday league or your club championship.
Shipping & Returns
How much is shipping?
Flat $6 anywhere in the USA. Order two or more markers and shipping is free.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet, unfortunately. US only for now.
When will my order ship?
Orders ship within 1 to 2 business days, and most go out the very next morning. You'll get a confirmation email with tracking as soon as it's on the way.
What's your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, as long as the marker is in its original condition and packaging. A $6 flat return shipping fee is deducted from your refund. To start a return, email andrew@greengemsgolf.com.
Players & Cards
What if I don't see my player in the shop?
Tell us who you're after on our Request a Player page. Hall of Famer, hometown guy, or a weirdly specific grail, we'll keep an eye out for the right card.
Can I send in my own card to be made into a marker?
Not something we usually do, but if you have a card that's truly special to you, reach out and we'll see what we can do.
